OpenAI: Voice recordings are sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription and GPT API for intelligent classification. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this processing.

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard encryption
Voice recordings are processed and not permanently stored

5. Microphone Permission

KLEAR Notes requests microphone access to enable voice note capture. This permission is used exclusively for:

Recording your voice when you tap the microphone button
Converting speech to text via AI transcription

We do not record audio at any other time. Voice data is only captured when you explicitly activate the recording feature.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active
You can delete individual notes and lists at any time
Voice recordings are processed immediately and not stored permanently
If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days

8. Children's Privacy
